Lead developer of a mathematics education website team responsible for both the main website application and many other website applications.Our team valued delivering stable, performant applications and consistent, web accessible design. Our applications were designed to be mobile-first and to feature full web accessibility, while optimizing for search engine indexing and the fastest possible page speed scores. It was also vital that we provide implementations of UX Designs with numerical precision, deeply respecting their knowledge and wishing that our implementations reflect their intentions. I architected and implemented a core React UI library alongside my team that allowed us to reuse components for consistent website design and robust functionality all while offering speedy development times.Furthermore, we designed a Next.js application whose primary goal was to feature fast landing pages with dynamic URLs from queries from search engines. By utilizing a back-end to batch client requests, pre-fetch data, and pre-render React HTML pages, we were able to achieve the fastest possible page speed scores and app performance possible.I also routinely performed maintenance on our application including updating project dependencies, monitoring pages’ speed and performance metrics, analyzing CloudFront reported API errors, and responding to website requests and issues brought up in Slack threads.Lastly, I caught security vulnerabilities that existed in the system and offered both hotfixes and more robust long-term solutions that would protect user's accounts and their data.

Most recently lead a project for the Android app through React Native. • Helped build and maintain back-end technology from server maintenance to writing NodeJS server scripts that interact with PostgresDB and AWS.• Led the development of unit tests which enabled the server codebases to have a full-fledged test suite• Worked with team to produce a full-fledged gifting experience in under 2 weeks for Christmas traffic. Features multiple webpages and uses Stripe API for handling transactions and allows users to gift the product. Implemented the back-end component of storing purchase information in a PostgreSQL database
