June has had a long career in investments. Mrs. Debatin began her investment career at C&S National Bank in 1968 where she was trained and worked in a variety of positions including, security lending, repo-trading and working closely with equity management clients. She started her formal investment consulting career in 1979 at Meidinger, later acquired by William M. Mercer at which point she was made a senior consultant. In 1985 she founded Debatin Associates which she sold in 1991 to Wyatt. She then became Director of International Asset Services for Wyatt Investment Services (now Watson-Wyatt). In 1993 June joined LCG as a board member and Head International Consultant. In 2002 she cofounded Ashdon with David Pruitt. June was a pioneer in the early days of the investment consulting industry. She developed one of the first investment manager databases in the early 1980’s and was on the leading edge of international investing in 1981 long before the U.S institutional funds embraced investing internationally. She was a frequent conference speaker in Europe, Asia and South America speaking on international investing for U.S. pension funds. June is a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church and holds positions as Vestry Member, Chair of the Endowment Committee, and Member of the St. Barnabas Galbraith Scholarship Fund Committee. She was formerly a board member of the Foundation for the Visually Impaired, Atlanta GA, Chair of the Finance Committee of the Metro Atlanta Christian Council and Chair of the Investment Committee for the Mississippi University for Women, Columbus MS where she was awarded the 2006 Medal of Excellence. She was also an independent Trustee for the Integrity Equity Mutual fund, from its inception until 2007.
