As Office Manager at Bentley University for almost 18 years, I also participated, along with my administrative duties, in the training and counseling of new employees and students. This involved good listening, patience, understanding, counseling, problem solving, and a good sense of humor!! For many years, I taught evening school courses specializing in good grooming, art of makeup, and social skills at local schools and YMCA. Also was guest speaker to Girl Scouts, High School seniors, and students at Perkins School for the Blind. These positions gave me many years of valuable experience understanding human behavior. The wisdom gained from my background has enhanced my mentoring skills, allowing me to offer quality guidance, and to reach solutions with a positive attitude and outcome.

Managed all aspects of the office and staff. Assisted Chair with administrative, academic recruiting, student and staff mentoring. Trained and counseled new employees. Attended all department meetings and hosted visiting dignitaries. Liaison to other departments. Supervised the secretaries, senior assistants and student assistants resulting in efficient operation of the department.

Instructor of Good Grooming, Etiquette, Art of Makeup and Modeling techniques for Watertown/ Waltham Adult Education, YMCA, Girl Scouts, and Waltham High School Senior girls. Also Judge at local beauty contests and MC at local fashion shows. The satisfaction of knowing these courses helped so many women and girls gain renewed confidence and self-esteem made it a very rewarding experience.
