Engineer-Machinist Mate

•Check truck daily for any repairs/replacements requirements necessary to maintain truck in good condition.•Maintain a safe, clean and properly operating tow truck.•Ability to act in a discreet manner.•Knowledge of local and state regulations regarding repossession.•Ability to accurately complete detailed condition reports on each repossessed vehicle.•Ability to communicate clearly and courteously, act professionally and always maintain a positive attitude.•Display the standards and expectations of the company when dealing with the public or any customer.

• Managing warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision.• Overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.• Setting up layout and ensure efficient space utilization.• Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.• Reviews & negotiates vendor contracts, monitoring company inventory, assessment of suppliers’ capabilities, addressing issues and concerns.

• Planned trip logistics and obtained necessary documents to transport goods.• Loaded and unloaded cargo.• Ensured cargo is secured properly compliant with safety requirements.• Followed safety procedures for transporting hazardous goods.• Performed pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection of vehicle.• Recorded cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel expenditure.• Report any incidents to dispatcher.• Report serious mechanical problems to the managers.

•File and prepare tooling per the part plan, lead person, or operator to avoid rejects/rework on finished product.•Recognize process/product-related issues and provide possible solutions to avoid rework and maximize productivity.•Maintain 100% on-time order completion.•Maintain the pursuit and accomplishment of zero defects.•Assist with order coordination.•Special packaging requirements on certain parts to achieve zero customer complaints/returns.•Work with chemical laboratory to maintain solution parameters.•Assist in the maintenance of the plating tanks.•Work to ensure safe practices and company policies and procedures are being followed.•Work closely with department and production supervisors to coordinate and schedule priorities on the line.•Performs other assigned duties to achieve the goals of the department and company.
