Responsible to prepare dessert items for various retail outlets on property according to Hotel recipes. Plating of banquet desserts. Displaying buffet desserts Was awarded the Certified Pastry Culinarian status with the American Culinary Federation upon completion of my pastry apprenticeship and successful practical testing. Also awarded the Tournant.

Trained as a cook in banquet breakfast cooking, sauce and roast, garde manger, and pantry for 1 year. Additionally, spent 2 years training as a line cook in six different restaurants on the Broadmoor property. In my third year, I worked as a line cook in the 5 star dining restaurant on the Hotel property. Also responsible to teach 4 or 5 classes a year in.
