The Australian Civilian Corps (ACC) program was a $10 million humanitarian program that provided Australian specialists to help partner governments in the Indo-Pacific region to prevent, prepare for, stabilise and recover from disasters and conflict. My roles were to provide quality and timely project management, operations and M&E support to over 30 disaster recovery and stabilisation deployments; and to drive program quality improvements, particularly in analysis and results reporting. Relevant responsibilities:i) Project management/coordination and Operations • Developed robust deployment terms of reference by collaborating with technical and posted colleagues; developed and coordinated budgets of up to AUD80,000 and risk management plans; managed consultant and specialist recruitment, training and visit programs; inducted, trained and mentored new/junior staff• Supported/directly managed technical disaster risk reduction/management deployments to 7 National Disaster Management Offices in Fiji, Vanuatu, Tonga, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu and Timor-Leste, and various health and education departments. o Deployments provided preparedness, infrastructure, WASH, shelter, information management and coordination support to tropical cyclones, typhoons and droughtii) Performance quality: Advised staff and specialists on monitoring, reporting and integrating cross-cutting issues; developed and socialised guidance, templates and tools; facilitated results and lessons debriefs; produced results narrative and financial reporting and recommendations to inform programming; managed consultants, reviews and evaluations• Managed a multi-sector evaluation of ACC support to Samoa Tropical Cyclone Ian• Managed a complex multi-sector, multi-country review of ACC DRM and early recovery support to 6 Pacific and East Asia countries over the 2014-15 cyclone period.• Liaison with France and NZ donor counterparts, Pacific government stakeholders and civil society

Pacific Women Shaping Pacific Development regional gender program (2013)The Pacific Women program commits $320 million over 10 years to improve the political, economic and social opportunities of Pacific women. Responsibilities:• Advised senior colleague on contract and performance management, helped train and mentor new/junior staff on project and contract management • Remotely oversaw Fiji-based contractor performance, to develop and launch Pacific Women’s program website • Developed database for programme monitoring and results reporting

• Provided secretariat support, briefing and communications to support development and implementation of the NGO and civil society partnerships policy• Worked closely with consultants to produce quality communications products; coordination and event management support to civil society and private sector business engagement activities
