I've worked professionally as an actor and writer.Specialties: I coach actors privately. In particular, audition preparation and creating a character for a role in which the actor has been cast. I also freelance as a screenplay and TV script analyst as well as write in those mediums.Recently, for several years, I conducted pre-production rehearsals and on-set coaching for a film company. Actors from disparate backgrounds came together to perform in a shooting schedule of ten days or less. The challenge of reaching a common language regarding craft, and being able to quickly bring rehearsal results in front of the camera was a creative challenge that I enjoyed. I directed "The Stronger" by August Strindberg at Rutgers University, and I recently directed "Closer" by Patrick Marber at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting and Theatre. I also directed "The Visit" by Lyudmila Petrushevskaya in the Adlerfest program at the Stella Adler Academy. If the right project comes along, I'd be interested in directing a play again. Otherwise, I love to teach, and I welcome new students; beginners and professional actors. I'm excellent at script analysis.
