OKT 2017Marianne BarlandKONTAKTPERSON:Marianne BarlandAutomatisering og digitalisering kan endre arbeidslivet med en fart vi aldri før har sett maken til. Hvordan kan vi sørge for at arbeidstakere lærer nok til at de forblir relevante?Dagens utdanningsmodell baserer seg på at man tar utdanning tidlig i livet, og så går ut i arbeidslivet. Men de store endringene i arbeidslivet øker behovet for at arbeidstakerne kontinuerlig får ny og hevet kompetanse.Teknologirådets nye prosjekt vil se på hvordan man kan legge til rette for at folk som er i arbeid kan få ny og oppdatert kompetanse mens de er i arbeid. Læring kan bli en naturlig del av det å være i jobb, og læringen kan bli livslang.– Vi vil aldri forlate skolebenken, men skolebenken vil forandre seg. Den samme teknologien som gjør at arbeidslivet blir mer automatisert, kan også brukes til å tilpasse læringen smartere og mer persontilpasset, sier prosjektleder Marianne Barland.Modulbasert læring på nett (f.eks. MOOCs), persontilpassing, simulering som fjerner krav til fysisk tilstedeværelse og AR (forsterket virkelighet hvor den virkelige verden blir blandet sammen med en virtuell virkelighet) er noen eksempler på teknologier.Singapore er et av landene som tar livslang læring på alvor. De har gitt alle innbygger over 25 år 345 dollar som kan brukes på kurs eller utdanning hos 500 ulike tilbydere (for eksempel universiteter eller MOOCs).I våre rapporter er dette noen av spørsmålene vi vil svare påHvordan kan ny teknologi brukes til læring, både i og utenfor utdanningssystemet?Hvem skal ha ansvaret for livlang læring, og hvordan kan dette organiseres?Hva skjer i andre land, og hva kan vi gjøre i Norge?Prosjektet skal munne ut i flere rapporter og anbefalinger til Stortinget og Regjeringen.

Working on a web based tool to support and guide project management of ICT investments over NOK 500 000 in the public sector.

Project Manager for a project to implement lap tops to all 18 000 students at 46 upper secondary schools in Hordaland county. This was a tree year project. The project included infrastructure, content and competencies. Among the projects started was the annual Best Practice Conference "Dei Gode Døma", a 2 day conference attending 450 teachers and 50 sessions/lectures. The intention of this conference was to share, motivate and connect teachers using ITC for educational purposes.An other project was "e-koordinator", a network of teachers dedicated to be a resource at their school for implementing the use of ICT in education.
