Researched and developed mission critical medical systems for use in emergency/critical care facilities. Developed applications, documentation, test-plans, implementation plans and provided on-call support for critical issues, primarily at the beta test site at Children’s Hospital, Boston.• Developed the cardiology’s CathAnalysis software application, which is used to finalize the analysis, coding and reporting of each cardiac catheterization case. The application calculates flows and resistances based on input data and generate various reports.• Acted as lead developer/designer of TrexNet Config, a configuration tool which provided a GUI to control various registry setting used by the TrexNet system.• Led the development of TrexNetInventory, a hospital inventory tracking system, which interfaced to existing TrexNet components. Inventory is automatically updated based on items used during procedures. At predetermined levels replacement inventory is ordered via fax or paper copy.

Designed, developed and supported mission critical applications software and corresponding documentation i.e. specification document, design manual, operator’s manual, validation and verification document and test plan; primarily for the nuclear industry. • Designed and programmed Win-Dose, an application in Visual Basic 3/5, to model the diffusion of isotopes between rooms in a nuclear power plant. Designed site specific versions of this model for more than 10 nuclear facilities. • Acted as tech lead for more than 20 simulation runs utilizing NetVac 2, a dynamic traffic simulation model, to assess evacuation time estimates for nuclear facilities with potential hazards of ammonia, chlorine and fire. • Programmed user interfaces in Visual Basic 3.0 for CalPuff, Calmet and Calpost, air quality systems which predicts the emission of pollutants from power plants, and AQTaipei, a set of Statistical Air Quality Forecast Models which predicts ozone and Pm10 levels for the Taipei/Keelung Area in Taiwan, R.O.C.
