Plymouth Dance connects, creates and celebrates dance in the city, forefronting values of compassion and integrity. Following a period of dormancy, the organisation has been reimagined by the leadership team: Chloe Brown, June Gamble, Sophie Hocking, Kaitlyn Howlett, Anneliese Kesteven, and Beth Tiner. The team’s mission is to use dance to inclusively engage people and communities within Plymouth and the surrounding areas; nourishing, enriching and empowering communities and effecting social change.Programmes include educational enrichment activities in schools, weekly classes for community groups, dance performance opportunities for young dancers, and public events in the city.

Clients include the Plymouth Epilepsy Support Group, Plymouth and Devon Racial Equality Council: Coordinator of the Plymouth RESPECT Festivals in 2019, 2021 and 2022 and Plymouth City Centre Company's West End Carnival Parade in 2021 and 2022.Partnering with Paul Read of DRIFT to deliver digital training for people wishing to set up ethical small businesses in Plymouth, as well as a Business Development Plan for Ashburton Arts Centre (2021).

June Gamble and Gwen Van Spijk set up Grand Visionary Solutions to offer practical, solution focused interventions to community interest companies, social enterprises and organisations with social and/or creative and participatory arts agendas.GVS works with a range of clients to breathe life into the realization of grand plans.Achievements:• Design, development and delivery of the Rugby League World Cup 2013 (RLWC2013) £1,000,000 (£600,000 cash) Community Engagement Dance Programme:- An exemplar for cross-sector partnership building & investment - 103 dance groups, 20 sport organisations and 9 funding partners- 4,500 people aged between 7 and 70 took part in a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of a major international sporting tournament- 23 events across 5 weeks in 18 Stadiums to a live audience in excess of 450,000 and a broadcast audience of over 1,000,000.- 70 professional artists and a project management team of 12 were engaged over a 3 month period.• Coordinated, written and delivered Impact Reports for Dance Bristol & Marketing Gloucester (Gloucester’s RWC2015 Cultural Programme and SoMAC 2016)• Undertook an Organisational Development Consultancy, resulting in a Business Plan for Dance Manchester (December 2018)• Created the #SWDancing2019 website and campaign for Pavilion Dance South West (March to May 2019)• Interim Consultancy for Dance Consortia North West, resulting in a Findings and Recommendations report (January to March 2020)• Delivered Training & Facilitation events for a range of clients• Worked with Pavilion Dance South West to develop the #SWDancing website (2019, 2020 and 2021)• Organisational Development process undertaken and delivered for Stacked Wonky (2021)• Worked with Cheshire Dance to recruit a Chair (2021/2022)• Created and launched the #DanceOnTourUK campaign - www.danceontouruk.com (2023)

For the final year of the Plymouth Cultural Education Partnership's With Flying Colours Project, I have taken on the role of freelance Project Consultant and Mentor, working alongside the Education Consultant and Artistic Consultant to support the Producing and Evaluation team.With Flying Colours is a 4 year project focused on engaging young people in schools with the work of local cultural delivery partners. This project is one of 5 across the country, being delivered by Cultural Education Partnerships, funded by DCMS.
