Most businesses grapple with complex enterprise-wide problems that often involve structural, psychological, and even cultural changes within an organization. How do you chart a path at the executive level, get engagement and buy-in across stakeholder groups, and build organizational capacity to make it all stick together, all the while trying to run the business day-to-day?As an educator, I have extensive experience facilitating disciplined strategic planning processes involving cross-functional executive leaders. From there, my communications experience bring key partners and cross-functional teams on board to the vision. And my systems-oriented mindset then creates the policies, processes, and practices that promote operational excellence. My love of technology is also a boon here, building tech stacks to support operations to achieve scale and efficiency.My career spans diverse industries—professional services, consumer products, and media, where I've gained extensive experience in change management, systems and process building, policy development, and stakeholder and partner engagement, applying these skills in post-M&A integrations, strategic partnerships, digital transformation, and capacity building across sales and marketing organizations. As well, I have the ability to work cross-functionally as I am a sales and marketing professional by trade, but also hold a Masters in Law, was a supply chain auditor in a previous life, and serve as a treasurer on CIUT FM's board of directors, giving me insight into a broad range of corporate functions and how they interact most efficiently. I hold an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management and I have spent 11 years sharing my experience and insights as an instructor in the Business Innovation Certificate program at the University of Toronto. Honours include being named a Powerful Women in Technology by Dealerscope Magazine in 2019 and receiving the 2022 Distinguished Alumni Award from the Rotterdam School of Management for my work in gender diversity.
