Jul 2018 - Jan 2021

Undergraduate Research Assistant

Singapore

► Worked at Hardware and Embedded Systems Lab (HESL) with Prof. Lam Siew Kei► Paper on dynamic integrity model is published in IEEE Transactions on VLSI, DATE 2020, and ASP-DAC 2021. (Please check the publications section below)Memory authentication is important for embedded systems and to counter this, various hardware memory integrity checking schemes have been proposed. However, existing approaches lead to excessive memory access overheads during runtime verification. The main aim of this project is to provide a design methodology that combines design-time and run-time strategies using memory integrity trees and Cache Oblivious algorithms.==Technologies==C, C++, Linux, Multi2sim full system simulator, Mcpat power simulator, SPLASH and PARSEC benchmarks, Computer architecture, Cache architecture, Integrity trees (TEC and Merkle trees), Cryptography (mostly working on AES and DES encryption algorithms).

Undergraduate Research Assistant

New Delhi Area, India

► Worked at Advanced Multicore Systems Lab with Prof. Sujay Deb► Paper submitted in IEEE Transactions on ComputersCache coherence protocols are provided to ensure that multiple cached copies of a single memory block are kept up-to-date. But with rapid increase in the number of cores, scalability of cache coherence protocols is very difficult to achieve. So, the main aim of this project is to provide an adaptive solution for the same.==Technologies==C, C++, Linux, Gem5 and Multi2sim full system simulator, SPLASH and PARSEC benchmarks, Computer architecture, Cache coherence, Many-core systems, Operating system.

► Worked at Advanced Multicore Systems Lab with Prof. Sujay Deb► Paper published in ISQED 2018. (Please check publications section)► Received travel grant of around 2000USDs to present the paper at Santa Clara, California. With many core processors gaining significance for high-performance computing applications, there is a great need for designing efficient communication infrastructures to interconnect all these cores, memory and I/O interfaces. This research project deals with building high-performance interconnection architectures with wireless interconnects for CMPs and heterogeneous computing systems.==Technologies==C, C++, Noxim simulator, Linux, Network on chip (NoC), Digital design
