Burnout, perfectionism, people‐pleasing, and chronic anxiety are often symptoms of a deeper issue—one that doesn’t disappear by simply working harder or “thinking positive.”I get it because I’ve been there, too. For years, I struggled with chronic job hopping, difficulty maintaining close friendships, and constant friction with family. My coping strategies—working overtime, people-pleasing, and aiming for perfection—were wearing me down. Yet, therapy sessions that only addressed my “symptoms” weren’t delivering the relief or growth I desperately needed.Eventually, I realized the only way to find lasting healing was to address the core issue beneath it all: the Parent Wound.What is the Parent Wound?It’s the hurt and pain that stems from a parent’s limited caregiving capacity—often due to their own unresolved trauma or life challenges. Despite their best intentions, this unhealed pain can show up in many ways: inconsistent affection, chronic criticism, emotional absence, or other behaviors that shape a child’s sense of self. Over time, this creates adult attachment patterns that keep us feeling stuck, alone, or perpetually “not good enough.”Here’s the good news: You no longer have to live under the shadow of the Parent Wound. Real healing begins when you name it, understand it, and start unraveling the coping strategies you developed in childhood that no longer serve you.I want to help you break free from those limiting behaviors to experience the life and relationships you’ve always imagined.I bring 20+ years of my own healing journey and degrees in counseling and organizational psychology to this work.
