Two jobs in one, supporting the Stratford Campus, and CommerceLab programs. For the University of Waterloo Stratford campus, in just 5 months: 1. Created and managed lead gen program for Master's program2. Managed social media and nearly doubled followers, dramatically increasing reach and engagement with a strategic mix of content that appealed to an extremely diverse audience of current and prospective students, parents, community, stakeholders, potential partners and employers. 3. Promotion for 1 conference, 1 hackathon, 1 speaker event, multiple student events, including AdWords, LinkedIn, Email, Web Content and more. 4. Planning, promotion and participation at 3 conferences: DX3, OCE and Canada 3.0. 5. Collateral development6. Rebranding7. Managed and planned videos, blog, newsletter and email campaigns from outline to layout, publish and send. In the same 15 months created CommerceLab, an initiative funded by the National Research Council's Centres of Excellence program promoting commercialization of academic research. Relying on my content marketing experience, created a resource site and supporting communication programs that drew over 4,000 monthly visitors after just 6 months. 1. Conceptualized, researched and created briefs for development of CommerceLab.ca, a site to promote Canadian innovation and developments in Interactive Display, Gamification and User Experience, and highlight current academic research that could lead to business investment and or partnerships. Through RFP selected final agency partners and launched site in July 2013. 2. Social media strategy and implementation that grew channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, G+, Reddit) from 0 to being a key traffic generator.3. Oversaw SEM and SEO, keyword targetting and resulting content development that were critical to success. 4. Online ad campaign to drive site visits, content downloads and newsletter registrations. 5. Developed lead gen process for identifying research programs.
