I interpreted financial reports and records for 11 volunteer Board members and Finance Chair. I ensured accurate expense forms by partnering with a third-party accounting firm. Annually, I lead a team of four to plan and facilitate an annual grassroots conference with 9 external speakers and 200+ attendees.A significant achievement in this role was I reformed the accounting system, preventing losses and saving time for staff and auditors by modernizing the invoice filing system and switching to filing by vendor number instead of cheque number. I was a part-time agency staff developing a map to connect farmers with potential buyers. I collaborated with graphic designers to build map design and ensure user-friendliness.

I worked as a part-time staff at a grassroots non-profit representing farmers’ interests. I oversaw the overall administration and bookkeeping supporting the 15 Board of Directors. I attended Board meetings and committee meetings and coordinated annual banquets.
