As a career H.R. professional with over 25 years of experience in multinational companies, my responsibilities over the years have spanned countries in parts of East, Central and West Africa, as well as the Middle East. I have led and implemented projects that elevated the role of the Human Resources Department in the firm e.g. the development of a reward strategy and roll out of the Corporate Grading structure at BNP Paribas. I was also instrumental in the development of a Leadership Talent pipeline that was brought to life through the “Mawahib” program of leadership development at BNP Paribas. More recently at Safaricom Plc, I have been instrumental in the review of the staffing mix at the Customer Experience Division, included the staffing of the Contact Centre based in Eldoret, and the introduction of a “Liquid Workforce” comprising of University Students. In addition, I have led a project within the Technology Division, in partnership with Gartner (IT Service Management Company), to assess our teams for IT future skills in line with our strategy and develop a Capability Development Roadmap for the team. More recently, I have led the re-design of the Technology Division structure in alignment with the 5-year strategy, and led the change and communication process for seamless implementation. As an Associate Certified Coach (ICF), I continue to leverage my skills to support my Division Leadership Team as they make the Leadership shifts needed to implement the strategy. My breadth and depth of experience make me an ideal candidate for a leadership role within a progressive organisation, looking to have a Human Resources Function that is engaged in charting the future of the organisation by anticipating and meeting the Human Capital needs and providing provocative thought leadership.
