About Jungah Son

As a teaching assistant at UC Santa Barbara, I have taught various courses related to art, science, technology, and engineering, demonstrating my interdisciplinary knowledge and skills. I have also developed and launched an educational website for a food literacy curriculum as an intern at The Foodbank of Santa Barbara County, applying my UI design and programming abilities to a social cause.My research interests lie in the intersection of human-computer interaction, affective computing, and creative expression. I have created innovative applications for emotional expression, drawing/painting, and virtual reality, such as emoPaint, a VR app that allows users to paint with emotion-based brushes and shapes.
