Jungki Min is passionate about knowing atomic level nature using biochemistry, X-ray crystallography, and Cryo-EM. He has learned molecular mechanisms underlying a variety of cellular processes including multidrug tolerance/resistance, cholesterol metabolism, Hippo pathway, and remodeling actin cytoskeleton for the past 10+ years. The recent research experience includes structural studies on glucocorticoid receptors and allergen-antibody interaction. The frequently used skills for these studies are in silico screening, cell-based assay, ELISA, antibody engineering, X-ray crystallography, MS analysis, and Cryo-EM. He is currently conducting basic research on allergy immunotherapy, mainly the structure-based design of drug candidates and testing them in vitro and in vivo. He is collaborating with researchers at Harvard University, InBio, and IgGenix. He is interested in gaining more experience in the industry to develop his career. He loves his family and science. Balancing these two worlds is challenging but enjoyable.
