Ever since I can remember, sports have always been an integral part of my life. From scoring a hat-trick against my dad, to catching my first touchdown, to scoring my first layup during recess in first grade, sports shaped my upbringing into what it is now. It taught there is victory in losing; losing is not the end but rather the beginning of something to learn. To this day, my love for sports has remained constant and has permeated toward the business aspect of sports; more specifically operations and contracts.As a current student at the Tisch Institute for Global Sport, I am positioned to not only learn about the sports industry but be an active participant as well. With my various applicable strengths such as communication, teamwork, and determination I am eager to learn more about the sports industry as I dive deeper and meet valuable colleagues along the way. In my internship, two other interns and I were assigned a project last minute, so we communicated how to split the work up and worked together to finish it within two days. I am excited to use the skill sets I possess to provide meaningful contributions towards the sports industry as a whole.In the future, I would love to represent athletes in their journey as a professional athlete. From once being a fan to now negotiating contracts on behalf of professional athletes would be the epitome of my career but until then, I will gradually learn and build experience as I indulge myself into the sports world.
