I’m developer / researcher in the field of search and recommendation, with focusing on problem solving by machine learning. I’m currently working as a machine learning engineer at AirSPACE team of NAVER, that is user location-based recommendation modeling team in local domain (e.g. POI, user, UGC, etc.). In the team, I have developed personalized recommender systems through various components (items) and data (metadata, user feedback) in local domain. In addition to machine learning, I have worked on data engineering and ops task in the team. Previously, I was backend engineer at eBay Korea, python developer at AI Spera (start-up) and have many experiences of developer and researcher. Although I have made a career mainly in recommender system, I have developed problem-solving skills from the perspective of how to use ML fundamentally in problem.- Recommendation & Ranking (personalization, ranking, position-based ranking, etc.)- Matching & Representation Learning (user / item representation through DNN, NLP, Graph, etc.)- Data Profiling (extracting user / item feature through statistics, CV, NLP, etc.)- ML System (modeling, deployment, monitoring, learning, etc.)
