I regard the brain as the physical platform of all behavior.In my approach of organizational topics, the recent knowledge in the field of neuropsychology is fully integrated with organizational psychology.This can lead to either completely new perspectives with surprising outcomes or to a more solid empirical ground under known solutions. I develop Brain Based Safety, a theoretical framework for safety topics in organizations, leading to an integral approach. My theory starts with an analyses why people are willing to take risks that might harm or even kill them in the time of their boss. Once you understand this, the next stept is to develop an approach that can help to strengthen safe behaviour. Behaviour however, is a cultural sensitive topic which can only be influenced within the context of that culture. For this reason I can only offer general concepts that need to be translated into the specific aspects of a branch in business and local circumstances. I strongly belief in a train the trainer concept, in which the main knowledge and skills are transferred to change agents of a company. Besides that I train the top management so that they can create the circumstances in which the approach can flourish.
