What is a business without numbers? My chosen career takes its roots in my passion for math. I believe that it's really important for businesses to properly record their numbers for accuracy and to be profitable.At FIU, I was the director of Students Wellness for two consecutive semesters where I was able to develop time management and leadership skills. I developed relationships with the health and wellness-related organizations and planned at least one event per semester.As a freshman, I participated in a tax competition ( FanTAXtic Deloitte) where I got exposed for the first time to the tax field. I learned about tax brackets and how the organization of a business influences its tax formats. I am eager to learn more about Tax and Audit fields so I could acquire experience and pursue the career of my choice.
