Current• Install and configure operating systems on physical hardware and a virtualized environment: RHEL 6,7,8 and 9 • Responsible for creating new user accounts, permissions, and security process monitoring and debugging using tools such as Nagios, VMstat, and Syslog • Migrate Servers RHEL6, RHEL7 to RHEL8 • Configures DNS, NFS, FTP, SSH, and security management • Collaborate with management team to install Upgrades using RPM and YUM utility. • Install and configure Apache web servers, Oracle RAC server, SAP Hana servers, and more.• Develop Linux Scripts to automate tasks using Bash and Ansible.• Use Crontab and AT to automate daily system tasks,• Backup servers using Unitrends and Vmware Snapshots.• Configured Red Hat systems for centralized login using Windows Active Directory• Partitioning and managing disks space using LVM • Install hardware in data center and software Raid systems on HP Blade Servers using HP OneView and HP ILO• Configure firewall settings using Firewalld and iptables • Check alert logs, trace files, and file system maintenance • Launch, manage and administer Linux Virtual machines on Vmware Vsphere• Install patches, software packages to remediate systems vulnerabilities by centralizing all repos on RedHat Satellite• Create sudoers files and scripts to Application teams to have access to local users with locked passwords and not giving them full root access.• Tune Kernel and apply Limits to allow applications to perform to the desired vendor specifications • Working with developers to deploy Docker Containers• Running Security scan and resolving vulnerabilities• Participate to the On-call rotation• Record changes for Production and QA environments• Send SOS reports to RedHat on crashed servers
