Greetings! I'm a veteran broadcaster, voice talent, and journalist with an extensive civilian and military background in the fields in which I've operated. I also have some acting experience, in voice work, on camera, and on the stage.In doing all this, I found myself in places all over the world, while often writing and blogging about my experiences. The one central thread running through it all is the storyteller.At KTXK, I am the first thing listeners hear at the beginning of the broadcast day as the local host of Morning Edition, bringing local news, sports, and business information to the listening audience. Further, I keep my eye on the community and generate story ideas to produce news packages on a wide range of subjects. Also, I dip into my deep knowledge of cinema to write and produce movie reviews.I constantly generate ideas and travel about the area seeking the stories that keep the listeners of KTXK informed and entertained. At the Texarkana Gazette, I looked out for, wrote, edited, and shot photos for local stories of business interest as well as other subjects. I sometimes assisted in editing stories going out for weekend editions.As the evening personality at classic hits KOOL FM of Texarkana, my focus was on entertaining and informing his audience on local stories, pieces of various interests around the world, and adding color commentary between the hits of the last few decades.
