I'm working as AD/ADAS expert in Honda R&D EU since 2017. Mainly, engaged in managing joint projects between EU and Japan.One of the achievements on my challenges in EU is succeed to run automated driving vehicle in Autobahn Germany. My expertise is robotics. I got a Doctor's degree as research of autonomous mobile robot technology. The research field was Tsukuba Challenge from 2008 until 2016. It was the real world robot challenge, required robot to run in city area over 1 km with keeping secure to pedestrian and environment. My robot has completed this mission to achieve the goal with stable autonomous navigation.The core technology consists of three parts1. Stable localization based on the map2. Search the runnable area based on sensor3. Path planning and control not to deviate the runnable areaHarmonizing these parts the key to develop stable autonomous robot and mobility. Applying this methodology, I can drive automated mobility project from fundamental to higher level.
