Hello everyone,My name is Junjie Wang, and I hail from Shanghai, China. I completed my undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Business, majoring in Accounting. My academic background primarily focused on accounting, but I'm excited to embark on the data science field to expand my skill set, particularly in the areas of business analysis and programming.As a graduate student deeply passionate and sensitive to data, I perceive data analysis as a powerful tool for solving real-world problems. Not only do I possess solid skills in data analysis, but I also prioritize keen insights into data details, enabling me to extract key information from vast datasets and provide reliable support for business decision-making.Having completed multiple data-related courses on online learning platforms and obtained certificates through examinations, I have acquired proficiency in using tools such as Python, R, SQL, and Tableau. Furthermore, I have delved into database management and interactive programming, integrating them to realize the Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) process for data. I have led teams on numerous occasions to accomplish high-quality academic projects, earning praise from academic professors and being showcased as exemplary projects. These projects span various domains and technologies, including business decision-making, market analysis, and database management.Additionally, I have held positions as the Program Representative for Applied Analytics, Associate Vice President of Marketing for the Columbia University Applied Analytics Club, as well as the Social Committee member of the Student Government. In these roles, I have not only led content creation and social media management for the club but also collaborated with school faculty to negotiate key performance indicators and standards for projects and course evaluations.
