I am heading the Built Environment Branch to conduct in-depth IAQ risk assessment and bioaerosol science study.

As Teaching Assistant and Guest Lecturer, I collaborate with professors to promote an immersive learning environment for undergraduate and graduate students. Part of my role is to conduct comprehensive analysis to highlight gaps in research, prepare for proposals, conduct indepth research for built environment. The projects include:1, Sensing for better thermal comfort and energy efficiency.I play a key role in the planning sensing across buildings on NUS campus, oversees the data collection, visualization and leads the research group to develop different algorithms integrated with ANN and genetic algorithm using the data obtained for optimizing IEQ and energy consumption for better thermal comfort and energy saving.2, Initial the building occupancy related comfort and energy saving study 3, Indoor diversity and its impact on occupants’ perception, satisfaction and energy consumption.4, Productivity under different indoor conditions5, Occupant interactions with personalized ventilation, Fan, VAV system to enhance thermal and IEQ comfort.6. I am leading the research on the impact of COVID-19 measures on indoor environmental quality and energy consumption of campus buildings. Show less
