Families And Young People’S Programme Manager
CurrentTo manage, develop and evaluate the Gallery's work with families, early years and young people. To develop and prioritise the offer for these audiences by designing and commissioning vibrant and innovative programmes, projects, and resources.In particular, to embed peer-led consultation and peer-led practice and evaluation across all aspects of the Gallery's programme of informal activity for families, early years and young people, and develop and grow the excellent work of the Gallery's active youth forum.To develop the ongoing offer and specific response to the exhibitions programme for families and young audiences, manage and deliver programmes and resources to sustain and grow the Gallery's approach for self-directed audiences.Work closely with all Programme Managers in the Learning and Engagement department, play a key role in championing and integrating the experiences of young audiences to inform practice. Knowledge of agenda for young audiences from different contexts and increasing understanding through consultation and relevant partnerships. Establish new progression routes for vocational, secondary, FE and HE audiences as well as establish new ways of widening participation through theGallery's volunteering and placement programmes.Widen capacity and reach for families with an increased programme for intergenerational families of all ages and young people on-site and online, NEET groups and harder to reach audiences and a commitment to widening participation and engaging local families.
