My internship was performed in the SKLDB (State Key Laboratory of Dairy Biotechnology).- Main tasks1) Met with the marketing department to laid down R&D direction and select new raw materials based on the market trend;2) Laboratory-scale yogurt samples production and pasteurization;3) Performed physical test methods for stability, pH, viscosity, rheological testing and microbiology testing of all formulations;4) Evaluated raw materials and products formula's for new and existing yogurt products; 5) Calculated the size of raw materials according to the dimension of industrial-scale pasteurization machine, and contacted the supplier for ordering new raw materials;6) Performed company-wide sensory analyse of new products and adjusted the formula based on the results;7) Conducted quality control: detected microorganisms (Bacillus) in raw milk material and conducted a selective examination on boxed milk beverage packaging.
