I always love to challenge new problems. Instead of being worried about an unfamiliar environment, I love to walk into it and challenge the issues that would benefit both myself and my group. I worked on a research project on Korea augmentation satellite system and helped to develop a new guidance system for the satellite system for the Korean government. I also chose to apply for a Ph.D. at Georgia Institute of Technology after finishing my master's degree at Seoul National University to broaden my experience and perspective.I am also good at bridging people from different backgrounds and providing leadership. I served in the military as a translator for two years in Osan Air Base, where I helped combined work between ROKAF and USAF. I was awarded an achievement medal from US PACAF, which was the first enlisted ROKAF airman getting the medal. I also worked in the foreign student help center at Seoul National University, where I helped international students' issues.
