Working alongside the Employee Experience Manager for the EMEA IT Zone, this role specialised in the conceptualisation, storyboarding & full end-to-end production of video training content in 11 languages. Additional content delivery techniques included graphic design elements and both digital & in-room print collateral & user documentation, accessible through QR codes and NFC technology, to support the IT & infrastructure training needs of the L'Oréal EMEA region with accessibility at the heart.The use of email campaigns and CRM tools combined with next-generation feedback processes across all 85,000 employees globally, ensured the most valuable content was delivered to the correct employees at the optimal time, in line with Global project launches.

Directly supporting the CIO of Northern Europe, my role within L’Oréal IT focused on process improvement and communications, with a view to enabling IT to better support their business partners. I created the L’Oréal IT YouTube Channel to support business users in becoming more independent with their technology, and with over 50 videos filmed and uploaded, this content had an impact on reducing the day-to-day frustration employees faced with their technology. User experience was at the centre of this initiative, aiming to reduce technological pain points across the business and increase enablement targets over previous years. This initiative was critical in helping L’Oréal UKI get off the ground with remote-working during the COVID-19 pandemic, with 2,000+ views in the first few days of lockdown in April and a total of 40K+ views in 2020. Visibility was also increased elsewhere, by implementing a regional floor walk process for the IT Helpdesk staff with a proactive view to taking IT to the users. Further to this, the designing and implementation of “New Starter Tech Packs” involving merchandise and tech-tip cards went a long way in reassuring new users of the IT support available to them.I completed my deliverables in this role while working at L’Oréal for 4 days per week, with 1 day per week dedicated to a two year fast-tracked Business Management degree, as a part of L’Oréal UKI’s Degree Apprenticeship scheme.

Following completion of my A-Levels, I made the decision to apply for international jobs and focus on building my creative business, as an alternative to the traditional university route being heavily promoted by my school.
