Details are below:Forecasting University Research Funding Project (September 2019 – December 2019)• Preprocessed 9.7K university funding proposals and 7.3K received awards records over 10 years from two data sources for other team members to conduct analysis in Python.• Visualized data leveraging Tableau to present proposals and award insights for stakeholders to understand funding performances and patterns in the past 10 years.• Developed three key metrics to evaluate university’s funding capacity for stakeholders to plan resources strategically.Google BERT Capability for Medical Text Classification (June 2019 – August 2019)• Led a team of four students to evaluate Google BERT’s performance in medical text classification tasks against other five machine learning algorithms in Python for a major pharmaceutical company.• Extracted 3000 tweets from Twitter API using provided tweet IDs for the team to perform the analysis.• Cleaned and transformed tweets that ready for five machine learning models and text analysis.• Reported results and key findings in comparison of Google BERT and other five machine learning models to client for their internal evaluation on Google BERT’s capability.
