I am currently studying Finance at Florida Atlantic University and I am seeking a Internship. In my studies I have learned about the industry and various aspects of business, but I would like to gain hands-on experience with a company. I have taken classes related to finance such as corporate risk management and Introduction to Management and Organizational Behavior. Corporate Risk Management focuses on understanding the financial risks associated with businesses, both large and small scale. It has been very useful in helping me understand how businesses approach difficult decisions related to investments, mergers, and other financial transactions. Furthermore, this class has given me insight into how different methods can be used to mitigate risk while maximizing rewards. Another class I took was Introduction to Management and Organizational Behavior. Covering topics like organizational structure, communication systems, decision making strategies, motivation theory, team dynamics, conflict resolution strategies, and leadership styles. Additionally, my studies have taught me the importance of effective financial planning. After graduation I will pursue a career in Finance. I believe my education and experience will give me the confidence I need to grow and succeed in this field.
