With a recent degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia, I've honed my skills in engineering fundamentals, agricultural science, and current farming practices. My particular interest lies in urban hydroponic farming, controlled environment agriculture (CEA), and the integration of Internet of Things (IoT), remote sensing, and drone technology into agriculture.As part of my final year project, I developed a prototype of an Intelligent Nutrient Dosing Algorithm (INDA) for hydroponic systems using microcontrollers and sensors. This project, conducted in collaboration with CityFarm Malaysia, resulted in an autonomous fertilizer dosing system that optimized the nutrient level in the tank from time to time, while reducing human's intervention and labor input. The system is equipped with IoT capabilities for real-time monitoring of key parameters every second, including EC, pH, temperature, and humidity data, integrating big data in agriculture to reveal trends and patterns for decision-makings.I'm excited about the potential of these technologies to digitalize agriculture, improve efficiency, and promote sustainable practices. I'm eager to contribute to research and development efforts in this field and explore opportunities to apply my skills to real-world challenges and contribute my part in the sustainable development goals.
