I am a PhD researcher in the Department of Bioscience Engineering at KU Leuven and a Strategic Basic Research Fellow funded by the FWO. My current work lies at the intersection of medical imaging, artificial intelligence, and postharvest engineering. In particular, my research explores the potential application of Deep Learning on Spectral X-ray CT scans of Horticultural products.I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from Beijing Forestry University and a Master’s degree in Data Science from King’s College London. Prior to joining the doctoral program, I worked as an algorithm engineer at Bosch China, devoted to automate industrial designing with optimization and reinforcement learning algorithms.
