About Junyi Yang
I am a graduate student seeking to start my career in the finance industry. I am now completing my Master's degree in Finance in Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. I have just passed CFA Level I test and is now focusing on learning quantitative courses which teach me how to apply programming languages like Matlab to financial research and analysis.My career interest is in Research and Fixed Income and I have gained related working experience. I worked seven months as an Research Assistant studying the Overseas TMT industry. I know how to collect and analyze industry data and have deeply participated in writing equity reports on JD.com, Iqiyi, PDD, and Bilibili. I also had over half year experience as a Bond Trading Assistant where I was reponsible for negotiating trades, making trade orders and filling out various product files and financial reports. Due to high working efficiency and quality, I also got the chance to write two creadit rating reports and participate in the analysis on high yield bonds.In general, I learn things quickly and largely on my own; therefore, even entering a totally new field, I start fast and usually take only one training day. I am a responsible teamworker. My group members shall never worried about me not completing my part while I can always help others on areas I am good at. I also do well in communication which is domenstated in my two working experiences on sales and especially, in a foreign country.I am extremely interested in Finance and Research, especially in the area of fixed income.
