Leading the GrabGifts Engineering Team with members across SG, VN, IN and collaborating with Product Owners and Business Owners in building up requirements and growing our business products beyond in-app, launching both website as well as Reseller solutions.GrabGifts is now available through several service providers and partners from 10 countries, including India, and the UAE. The community has grown to over 55 partners, spanning sectors in corporate gifting solutions, CRM, marketing, and more. Some current partners include Klook, Wogi, Sodexo, Giftaway etc.

Collaborated with product and business owners to pitch, ideate on product vision and goal of relaunching a gifting product which cumulated into what is known as GrabGifts today. Architected the system on modern platforms with a Go backend, setting the framework around payment integration, issuance, fulfilment and support of purchases for future product expansion. Together with 2 mobile team members and contractors, brought the vision live.Subsequently built a team around this product after the launch.

Built system for booking rides on the web, developed dashboards in the grab for business portal amongst others.As the sole engineer supporting the GrabGifts product on the side, temporarily stepped up as a semi-Product Owner charting the roadmap with the Business Owner to elevate the GrabGifts system to satisfy business needs. Independent work was also done to stabilise the GrabGifts vendor-developed engineering backend with an aged PHP fulfilment system.Supported some Grab social efforts.Undertook the challenge to tweak our Android app when there was a restructuring and the team was temporarily left without an Android engineer.

Engineer in Enterprise Team, building solutions for B2B and other enterprise-related services, including but not limited to executing and launching concierge booking of transport services in airport / hotels.Supported company wide efforts to migrate Ruby to Go as well as breaking up the code monolith into microservices.About-----Grab started out as a ride-hailing company, and has since expanded its services to cover Logistics, Deliveries, Food, Payments and Marketplaces.
