I am an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Law at the Université de Montréal and my teaching responsibilities currently revolve mainly around civil evidence. My current research focuses on how medical malpractice is proven in specific cases and how the authority of medical sources (be they people or institutions or writings) is either affirmed or contested. More generally, I am interested on the intermingling of medical, scientific, and legal forms of reasoning, and how these play out in the course of legal and policy debates.
