As a Robotics Engineer, I am responsible for the development of our ROS transport robot. Besides working with our transport robot, am I also developing software for our reception robot Pepper from the company Softbank.

During my graduation period at Decos Welbo, I have completed two graduation assignments. The first graduation assignment consisted out of implementing a map in ROS of obstacles that the robot is not able to detect. For example, this could be places like a staircase or the tabletop of the office desks. Completing this assignment was relatively easy and was successfully completed within two weeks. After finishing the first assignment, we decided to develop a completely new robot for a new use case. We called the project: "The Butler of the Future". The goal was to develop a transport robot that would be able to transport empty glasses from an employees desk, via the elevator, to the dishwasher. The new assignment was successfully completed in the remaining fifteen weeks. The end goal of the transport robot is to be able to autonomously transport packages and other goods in an office environment.

As a Junior Design Engineer, I was responsible for calculating the feasibility of different projects and the automatization of different prototypes.

During my internship at the TU Delft, I was responsible for designing a low-level electronic system for an underwater robot that will be used in swarms in the ocean waters. The goal was to program different communication protocols for the sensors and actuators and to design an electronic scheme for the battery system.

During the internship, I made a feasibility study for an innovative project.
