In my current position I am working on the brain mechanism that support learning by imitation. Which brain mechanisms during observation of others are predictive for the ability to imitate the observed behavior? Our results could result in valuable insights to imitation learning in motor skills (that may apply to sports, revalidation therapy etc), but also.

The last 4 years I’ve studied the neuropsychological mechanisms of sequence learning as a postdoc researcher. In daily activities like piano or tennis playing, sequence learning is of fundamental importance to acquire new skills, but it is also a fundamental feature of language. My personal interest is focussed on the role of such learning mechanisms in.
