About Jusryn Ee

As an experienced healthcare professional with various head responsibilities in campaign and committees, my mission is simple: to provide a level of patient-centric service to the community that I would want for my family. I specialize in coordinating work and delivering results in a high-pressure clinical setting.I believe that my Masters degree and experience have prepared me for a diverse range of careers. Hence, I am seeking a rewarding role that provides opportunities for me to exercise leadership and management skills whilst maintaining my passion in healthcare.I am known to have excellent communication skills which is key when building professional relationships, and a trusting bond with patients. Many of my patients have praised me for being a listening ear and providing the attention they have not received elsewhere. I often go the extra mile to resolve problems on behalf of patients (and their families). This involved communicating effectively with my multidisciplinary colleagues as well as with the primary care setting. In addition, I am known in my department as having a high standard of work ethic as evident from positive annual progress reviews. As a pharmacist, I am experienced with making decisions guided by my critical analytical skills, national guidance and hospital procedures. I am also a fast learner and comfortable working independently with minimal guidance.I am also familiar with the constant changing challenges of hospital environment, hence I am able to produce results while working under pressure in a fast-paced setting. For example, multiple "Golden Discharge" awards honored to my wards for continuously coordinating seamless and timely discharges for our patients. Furthermore, I have experience in quality improvement projects through conducting two full-cycle audits on VTE risk assessments and current issues with discharge prescriptions. As a result of my second audit, I implemented a new SOP to detail the actions required and reduce deviation in practice.I have a passion for education & training, often requested to provide hands-on training to pharmacist and technician trainees. This led to their subsequent licensing and appreciation of my efforts for pushing them to be better. I was also involved with leading various projects/groups including being an Organizing Chairperson of a multi-university organ donation campaign and Class Representative. Hence, I am comfortable in a leading role or supportive and keen under leadership.
