Current• Facilitated the Special Projects workgroup team in improving various templates used in the organization’s clinical platform. This was aligned with the organization’s need for smooth interdepartmental communication.• Coordinated a retrospective review of 2021 authorized cases with time constraints, which led to a formal presentation at the 2022 Texas Transplantation Society Annual Scientific Meeting.• Collaborated with various hospital leadership and healthcare teams in ensuring a seamless transition from hospital care to potential donation conversation.• Provide high-level support and donation information to bereaved families.• Continuous communication and follow-ups with various departments within the organization.• Maintain high professional ethics when working with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.• Obtain authorization or disclosure with first person authorization and conducts a donor risk assessment questionnaire (DRAI) with appropriate NOK/surrogate of the potential organ donor.• Follow up with donor families post organ and tissue recovery to provide outcome of donation.• Ensure strong collaboration with the organ, tissue, and hospital development departments to ensure the maximization of organ and tissue donation opportunities.• Assist the Director Family Care in the planning and execution of various training and meetings.
