Research topic: Statistical methods for variable renewable energy generation modellingDissertation can be found from: https://aaltodoc.aalto.fi/handle/123456789/30612- Planning and carrying out scientific research in an international research group- Developing statistical methods for wind and PV power generation modelling- Applying statistics, machine learning and data analytics in a wide array of problems in the field of power systems including demand response, energy storages and smart grids- Utilizing my in-depth knowledge related to wind and PV energy generation, energy markets and power systems- Working mostly with R, Python and MATLAB- Teaching duties including lecturing and assisting in projects and thesis works

- Developing statistical modelling methods for large scale wind power generation with MATLAB- Performing data analytics and data processing- Working in close co-operation with the Finnish TSO Fingrid Oyj- Learning in-depth knowledge related to wind energy and transmission systems

- Designing and constructing a calorimetric measurement setup to measure iron losses in synchronous machines- Analyzing measurement data and developing FEM meshes with MATLAB
