Have you ever looked at a piece of art that was created from thousands of tinier pieces of art? Like those portraits made up of different photos, or the scenes built from boatloads of bottle caps? Well, I view myself as one of those works of art. You see me from a distance, and you get the whole picture, but when you move in closer, you really learn what makes me tick.During my years in the customer service and optical industry, I have evolved continuously. It is my mission to continue evolving along with my profession. With each step I take into this field, I gather bits and pieces of knowledge everywhere I go.During my time as a manager, I learned how to listen. I also learned the best words to use and how to diffuse a situation where a customer is less than happy with the service provided. I pride myself on my ability to turn a negative situation around. Now, in my role as an online business manager, the same skills and strengths apply.My drive for success in sales originated from my time at America’s Best where I remained #1 in sales for the company for eight months running, (and two of those months came after I resigned for another position). Our store hit two million in sales the year I was there.My experience has come from all over. I thrive in an environment that is full of challenges and rewards. I enjoy the challenge of a tough sell and rectifying a negative situation has its perks as well. But most of all, I love PEOPLE.No two days are alike in the freelancing world. It may not be all sunshine and rainbows, but at the end of the day, I leave my desk knowing that I have helped at least one person understand things a little better. Being able to help an individual into a product that fits them personally is more than rewarding but making a connection with a fellow human is priceless.I am committed to learning something new each day in my career. The day I don’t learn something new will be a very boring day indeed.
