Toby Benador is a neurodiverse, genderqueer, POC who successfully made a name for themselves as an independent gallery owner, project manager, and curator in the Urban Art sector for over 15 years. They have held positions of Director, Curator, Creative Director and Board Member for organisations and festivals like Just Another Agency, National Gallery of Victoria, Centre for Projection Art and Can’t Do Tomorrow.Throughout their extensive time spent involved in the industry, Toby has opened and run several notable galleries and businesses, such as Just Another Project Space, 1000 Pound Bend and Rancho Notorious all with a driving force to showcase and support emerging and established artists. Since launching Just Another Agency in 2010, they have worked in the organisation and implementation of large-scale, multi-artist creative projects and built a reputation as one of Melbourne's premier creative and event management agencies.Toby’s network includes an array of arts practitioners and collectors; both local and international, local councils, brand ambassadors, and innovators. Within the industry, Toby is recognised as a specialist in their field, with unmatched energy and dedication to each project, artist, client, and partner alike.
