As a Cloud EA I worked with customers in a wide range of industries: Aerospace & Defence, Pharmaceutical, Engineering, Telecoms & Banking. Engagements ranged from developing IT strategies & roadmaps to resolving detailed solution requirements around handling ITAR data in the cloud. Developed the Technology, Architecture and Landscape areas of the Integration Strategy for Unilever dealing with A2A, B2B, ETL and managed file transfer services. Developed unbranded architecture for API integration for Internal, Partner and Public APIs.Evaluated integration appliances.Developed associated Secure Integration Guidelines to cover all topologies where Confidential and Personal Identity Information are transmitted and processed.Performed analysis of global IBM software audit and negated WebSphere license exposure. Re-architected MQ landscapes to allow consolidation onto upgraded platforms to provide better service at much lower cost.Working with global teams on projects in Americas, Asia-AMET and Europe to ensure alignment to strategic goals and adherence to Unilever Integration standards.Rapidly designed & developed an R&D proof of concept platform which extracted near real-time data from geographically remote systems via mobile networks. This data was then processed within the tool for analytics / reporting and to ultimately demonstrate strong business value from the concept.

In the time I worked in Kidsons - the 10th largest accountancy in the UK at that time - I supported Netware servers and clients across 3 sites.

Worked as a systems engineer dealing with bespoke raster processing platforms used in reprographics. In this role I worked throughout the UK implementing and supporting systems in a number of blue chip companies. I also gave presentations & demonstrations in Dubai to reprographics companies looking at becoming VARs within the UAE.

Intelligence analyst working in UK, Cyprus and Northern Ireland, dealing with all forms intelligence. Enhanced Positive Vetting (EPV) clearance for all levels of intelligence. Enjoyed playing basketball, and doing athletics for my various units. Competed in many shooting competitions.
