Working with Hach, Trojan, FSData (Flow) and other water quality group companies on analyzing data from our various IoT projects to ensure data driven decision making and that each project has an acceptable ROI. I am also building an infrastructure to support the creation of dashboards using Power BI and Azure Data Explorer. In addition, I am moving our flow product line from an infrastructure based on IaaS to PasS in order to allow for growth. The current VM infrastructure is expensive and is time consuming to restore after an outage. Hach develops instruments that help monitor and improve water quality and created a Software as a Service implementation called Claros to allow these instruments to be monitored on both mobile and web clients. Trojan wanted to bring their instruments into Claros so that they would not have to re-create an entire application ecosystem. My job is to act as a liaison between Hach and Trojan to ensure that Trojan’s needs are met, and providing both technical architect and product guidance to ensure that Trojan’s project is successful. I was on the big data team and we focused on the ETL of data that was destined for SalesForce or for visualization in a variety of tools including Google Data Studio, Looker, and Tableau. My role at Open Range Access was to inventory all past projects and attempt to productize them. In addition, we migrated 90% of the software to Windows to match client requirements. Software that was productized focused around included tools to monitor, notify users of out of range data, and create visualizations for users that needed data from SCADA Systems.
