Worked on Armored Software Project. Dealing with the communication between Virtual Machines on the Xen Hypervisor using VChan. Wrote main code that uses VChan in C and wrote a Foreign Function Interface for Haskell, to send typed data via VChanMain research has been on the Remote Monad. The general idea is to have a monad that when given a mechanism to transport packets can automatically break up and send packets in an efficient way based on the underlying Haskell structures of Applicative Functors and Monads.

Along with one other developer I helped rewrite the back-end engine that would take a user's interests hobbies and attributes and select the best gifts that would apply to that user. We also rewrote the front-end to be responsive design and to be more user friendly. I wrote software that increased the productivity of our product finders by 500%, and looking to increase productivity even more by adding category prediction for the products. In the back-end we use Spring MVC, Java, mySQL, and JSP. In the front end we use Backbone, Underscore, JQuery, CSS3, and html templates.
