Assisting in the preparation of the annual logical budgets for the program and other special projects – in consultation with the Operations Department.Preparing payrolls and Handling monthly reconciliation of specified bank accounts.Preparing and analyzing regular internal financial reports as well as preparing and interpreting quarterly and yearly financial accounts for the support offices abroad the project and Preparing for the scheduled internal and external audits.Safe guarding and ensuring of efficient use of the program’s assetsHandling monthly reconciliation of specified bank accounts.Reviewing all program’s orders and payments to ensure that they have supporting documents as per the organization’s finance manual.Carrying out audits for community projects financed by the program.Monitoring all the advances given to staff for the program’s activities to ensure they are reconciled within the recommended time frame.Preparing regular entries to the electronic journal.Approving coding on all vouchers prepared by staff for valid accounts/cost centers.Researching expenditure variances and preparing correcting journals as required.Handling complex accounts payable/expenditure accounts.Supervising the work of the bookkeeper and office assistant.VAT claims from Lesotho Revenue Authority on monthly basis
