Ensured medications were being received by patients and properly documented to satisfy the requirements of insurance companies. I have been responsible for ensuring all patients, past and present, have satisfied these requirements and established methods to continue this compliance.

Working with the Pathology department at Hahnemann Hospital at Drexel University College of Medicine, we are used Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) to detect prostate cancer. Current techniques in radiology and ultrasound lack the spatial resolution to detect small, significant tumors. OCT will allow prostate tumor removal to be complete as to prevent recurrence of cancer. My role as researcher was to assist in the experimental design from an engineering position. I utilized the 3D printer among other machines and tools to create a device which stabilizes the prostate samples and the OCT probe to run consistent and reliable experiments.

Helped develop software for the American College of Radiology Image Matrix (ACRIM) to record tumor imaging studies throughout drug trials. The software integrates Adaptive Clinical’s cloud-based software with ACR’s imaging resources to record lesion growth and movement and correlate this information to whether or not the lesion is responding to the drug trials. My responsibilities are ensuring ACR compliance, quality assurance of the efficiency and accuracy of calculations, and validation.

Implant Research Center creates a multi-institutional collection of retrieved orthopedic, spine, and cardiovascular implants and peri-implant tissue as a resource for academic research. Surrounding hospitals send retrieved implants to the implant research center. The research center determines the causes of failure and possible improvements. My primary responsibilities include cleaning, storing, and cataloging the received implants.

All aspects of cell culture performed independently for a lab team of eight. Cells were brought up, split, seeded, fed, and maintained. During experiments cells were stained, imaged, and quantified using microscopy and spectrophotometry techniques. Standard operating procedure for laboratory work was observed.

Onsite service and unit inspection and troubleshooting. Independently used diagnostics tools and meters to measure unit output and identify replacement parts. Serviced a variety of units and managed onboard parts inventory prior to each call.

Responsibilities ranged from cashier to stocking shelves, tracking and ordering inventory. Assisted the store manager by opening store at 5am and closing after 11pm. Reconciled cash registers with receipts of upwards of $2000 per day.
