I started working at the reception and control desk, and I moved my way up to building manager. As a building manager, I was in charge of opening and/or closing the facility on a daily basis including weekends. I had to deal with students as well as local members of the facility and make sure that all their needs were met. I also oversaw up to 3-4 employees while I was on duty.

I began working as a front desk attendant and moved up to night manager/night security. I would close down the library during the week and have occasional all-night shifts in the extended hours area of the library. I made sure that the library ran smoothly and safely every night. I also was the one to deal with any complaints or other situations that arose during evening/night hours.
